Brush against the pile
Heavy foot traffic can flatten blades just like natural grass. A stiff brush — or a quick pass with a power brush once or twice a year — lifts fibres back upright. Furniture imprints usually recover on their own within a day or two.
Clear weeds and debris
Use a leaf blower, plastic rake, or stiff brush to shift dust and leaves. Avoid metal rakes — they can snag fibres. A weed membrane is installed under every Mohammad Decor lawn, but occasional edge growth can be plucked by hand or treated with a gentle weed killer.
Rinse when it is dry
Rain does most of the work elsewhere, but in Dubai a light hose-down every few weeks removes dust and pollen. Warm water with mild detergent handles most spills; for grease or sunscreen, diluted mineral spirits work — never bleach.
Pet care
Quality turf handles pets without damage, but odours can build in heat. Designate a toilet zone, rinse regularly, and use a pet-safe deodoriser. ZeoFill infill helps neutralise urine smells when installed at the outset.
Protect from heat and spills
Keep BBQ embers off the turf, cover the lawn when painting nearby fences, and steer clear of glue, gum, and broken glass on the surface. Our team can often patch localised damage without replacing the whole lawn.
All-weather drainage
Perforated backing lets rainwater drain straight through to the sub-base. After heavy rain, leave snow to melt naturally or clear it with a plastic shovel — never a metal edge that could cut fibres.
