Choosing pile height and format

Most balcony installs use 15–25 mm landscaping pile — natural enough to look like a lawn, low enough to clear door thresholds. Shorter 7–10 mm decorative grass suits small Juliet balconies where every millimetre counts. We bring samples on the measurement visit so you feel the fibre before ordering.

Installation on tiles, concrete, and decking

Tower balconies rarely allow excavation, so we fix grass with adhesive, perimeter edging, or loose-lay with matting depending on building rules and drainage. We check slope so water runs to outlets — standing water damages tiles and neighbours below.

For larger terrace wraps we seam multiple rolls cleanly and hide joints along logical lines. Community access and working-hours rules are coordinated before install day.
